REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

Front Seats

See Figures 1 and 2

The front seats are removed by disconnecting the mounting bolts holding the seat to the floor rails. The bolts may be under plastic covers which can be popped off with a small prybar. The seat assembly will come out of the car complete with the tracks and adjuster. When reinstalling the seat, make certain that the bolts are properly threaded and tightened to 27 ft. lbs. (37 Nm). SEAT MOUNTING AND RETENTION IS A CRITICAL SAFETY ITEM. NEVER ATTEMPT TO ALTER THE MOUNTS OR THE SEAT TRACKS.
