The sway bar can be found on 4WD models.

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

CAUTION
The suspension on any vehicle is assembled with high grade, hardened fasteners. NEVER substitute a fastener of inferior load rating when assembling a suspension component!

  1. Remove the sway bar bushing brackets.
  2.  
  3. Remove the bolts/nuts holding both ends of the sway bar, then remove the bar.
  4.  

To install:
  1. Assemble the ends of the bar to the body links. Torque to 22 ft. lbs. (30 Nm).
  2.  
  3. Install the sway bar bushing brackets. Torque to 27 ft. lbs. (37 Nm).
  4.
