Removal & Installation



  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2.  
  3. Raise and safely support the vehicle.
  4.  
  5. Remove the rear wheels and tires.
    WARNING
    Be careful not to damage the hub bolts when removing the rear wheel and tire.

  6.  
  7. Remove the upper (A) and lower nuts of the rear stabilizer control links.
  8.  
  9. Remove the rear stabilizer control link from the stabilizer bar assembly.

To install:

  1. Install the rear stabilizer control link and nut to the stabilizer bar assembly. Tightening torque: 74-89 ft. lbs. (100-120 Nm).
  2.  
  3. Install the stabilizer control link nut to the trailing arm. Tightening torque: 74-89 ft. lbs. (100-120 Nm).
  4.  
  5. Repeat appropriate steps for the other side.
  6.  
  7. Install the wheel and the tire to the rear hub. Tightening torque: 65-80 ft. lbs. (90-110 Nm).
    WARNING
    Be careful not to damage the hub bolts when installing the rear wheel and tire.
