  8.
  9. Have the assistant slowly press the brake pedal and maintain pressure on the brake pedal.
  10.
  11. Loosen the bleeder valve in order to purge air from the wheel hydraulic circuit.
  12.
  13. Close the bleeder valve. Tighten the bleeder valve to 73.5 inch lbs (8.3 Nm).
  14.
  15. Have the second technician slowly release the pedal.
  16.
  17. Wait 15 seconds.
  18.
  19. Repeat this procedure until air (6) is purged from the wheel hydraulic circuit.
  20.
  21. Install the bleeder valve cap.
  22.
  23. Repeat this procedure at all bleeder valves that require bleeding.
  24.
  25. Replenish the brake fluid in the master cylinder reservoir to the MAX mark and install the cap.
  26.
  27. Slowly press and release the brake pedal. Observe the feel of the brake pedal.
  28.
  29. If the brake pedal feels spongy, repeat the bleeding procedure.
  30.
  31. Inspect the hydraulic brake system for external leaks.
  32.
  33. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position with the engine OFF. Inspect the instrument cluster.
