Change engine oil, clean strainer.
Check for leaks from engine and transaxle.
Lubricate carburetor controls and linkages.
Check battery, clean and grease terminals.
Examine the level of electrolyte in the cells and, if necessary, add distilled water via the plugs on top of the battery to bring the electrolyte level up to the top of the vertical separators.
Lubricate door and hood locks with cold-resistant, water-repellent universal grease.
Lubricate rear brake cable conduit tubes on earlier models which have fittings provided for this purpose. Universal grease should be applied to these fittings if they are present.
Lubricate pedal cluster grease nipple on earlier models having such a fitting.
