Turbocharger Boost Bypass Solenoid (A) Circuit Low Input/Short to Ground

Possible Causes:



Bypass solenoid power supply circuit is open
 
Bypass solenoid control circuit is open, shorted to ground or system power
 
Bypass solenoid assembly is damaged or has failed
 
Charge air pressure sensor is faulty
 
Voltage supply to the charge air pressure sensor is open or shorted
 
Check the charge air system for leaks
 
Recirculating valve for turbocharger is faulty
 
Turbocharging system is damaged or not functioning properly
 
Turbocharger recirculating valve is faulty
 
Vacuum diaphragm for turbocharger is out of adjustment
 
Wastegate bypass regulator valve is faulty

Possible Causes:



Battery terminal corrosion, or loose battery connection
 
Connection to the ECM interrupted, or the circuit has been opened
 
Reprogramming error has occurred
 
ECM has failed and needs replacement. Remember to check for Aftermarket Performance Products before replacing a ECM.
 

Trouble Code: P0605



ECM Read Only Memory (ROM) Test Error

Possible Causes:



An attempt was made to change the module calibration, or a module programming error may have occurred
 
Clear the trouble codes and then check for this trouble code. If it resets, the ECM has failed and needs replacement.
 
Aftermarket performance products may have been installed.
 
The Transmission Control Module (TCM) has failed.
