HO2S (Bank 1 Sensor 2) Slow Response

Possible Causes:



HO2S signal shorted to heater power circuit in the connector
 
HO2S signal circuit shorted to VREF or to system voltage
 
ECM has failed

HO2S (Bank 1 Sensor 2) No Activity

Possible Causes:



HO2S before the three-way catalytic converter is contaminated (due to presence of silicone in fuel); Run the engine for three minutes at 3500rpm as a self-cleaning effect
 
Leaks present in the exhaust manifold or exhaust pipes
 
HO2S signal wire and ground wire crossed in connector (voltage jumps)
 
HO2S element is contaminated or has failed
 
ECM has failed
