Fluid Level Check

On all vehicles the reservoir is located in the engine compartment, near the radiator.

The fluid level should be checked at regular intervals. With the engine running, and the fluid temperature at 122°F (50°C), the fluid level should be between the MAX and MIN marks on the outside of the reservoir, or if equipped, between the MAX and MIN marks on the dipstick. If fluid is added, make sure the filler cap is secured.
