REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

The idle boost valves and auxiliary air regulator (on CIS systems), as well as the idle air stabilizer (on CIS-E and Digifant systems), can be removed using the same basic procedure.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Label and disconnect the hoses and the electrical connection from the valve.
  4.  
  5. Remove the nuts/bolts securing the valve, then remove the valve.
  6.  
  7. Installation is the reverse of removal.
  8.
