Fig. Adding fluid to the power steering reservoir

On all vehicles except for A1 platform Cabriolet, the power steering fluid reservoir is located near the battery. On the A1 Cabriolet, the reservoir is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment, near the radiator.

The fluid level should be checked at regular intervals. With the engine running, the fluid level should be between the MAX and MIN marks on the outside of the reservoir, or on A3 platform vehicles, the MAX and MIN marks on the dipstick. If fluid is added, make sure the filler cap is secured.
