Removal & Installation
The bushings of the control arms are not replaceable. If necessary, the entire control arm must be replaced
- Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning of this Section.
- Raise the vehicle and remove the wheels.
- Remove the bolts securing the control arm and remove it from the vehicle.
Installation is the reverse of removal. Observe the following torque specifications (use new hardware):
Lower control arm:
Control arm to subframe (eccentric): 133 ft. lbs. (180 Nm)
Upper rear control arm:
Control arm to subframe: 66 ft. lbs. (90 Nm) plus an additional 1 / 4 turn
Upper front control arm:
Control arm to wheel bearing housing: 111 ft. lbs. (150 Nm) plus an additional 1 / 4
