Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Circuit High Input

Possible Causes:



FTP sensor signal circuit is shorted to VREF (5v)
 
FTP sensor ground circuit is open
 
FTP sensor is damaged or it has failed
 
PCM has failed

Fuel Level Sensor Signal Range/Performance

Possible Causes:



Fuel level sensor is stuck in one position
 
Fuel level sensor is damaged or it has failed
 
High resistance in the fuel level sensor ground circuit
 
Loose fuel tank baffle interfering with the fuel level sensor
 
PCM has failed
 

Trouble Code: P0462



Fuel Level Sensor Circuit Low Input

Possible Causes:



Fuel level sensor is stuck in one position
 
Fuel level sensor signal circuit is shorted to ground
 
Fuel level sensor is damaged or it has failed
 
Loose fuel tank baffle interfering with the fuel level sensor

Cooling Fan Relay Control Circuit Malfunction

Possible Causes:



CFAN relay control circuit is open or shorted to ground
 
CFAN relay control circuit is shorted to system power
 
CFAN relay power circuit is open (check the Cooling Fan fuse)
 
CFAN relay is damaged or it has failed
 
PCM has failed (the internal control driver is damaged)
 

Trouble Code: P0481



High Speed Cooling Fan Relay Control Circuit Malfunction

Possible Causes:



CFAN relay control circuit is open or shorted to ground
 
CFAN relay control circuit is shorted to system power
 
CFAN relay power circuit is open (check the Cooling Fan fuse)
 
CFAN relay is damaged or it has failed
 
PCM has failed (the internal control driver is damaged)
 

Trouble Code: P0502



Vehicle Speed Sensor Signal Range/Performance

Possible Causes:



Check for DTC P0722 or P0723 as these codes may be set along with P0502. Repair the cause of these codes and retest.

A/C Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Input

Possible Causes:



A/C refrigerant pressure sensor connector damaged or shorted
 
A/C refrigerant pressure sensor circuit is shorted to ground
 
A/C refrigerant pressure VREF circuit is open or shorted
 
A/C refrigerant pressure sensor is damaged or it has failed
 
PCM has failed
 

Trouble Code: P0560



System Voltage Signal Range/Performance

Possible Causes:



Main relay output circuit is open (may be an intermittent fault)
 
Main relay is damaged (use the repair chart for U2105 for diagnosis of the main relay)
 
Possible high resistance condition in the fusible link to battery
 
PCM is damaged
 
Vehicle may have been used to "jump start" another vehicle
 

Trouble Code: P0562



System Voltage Too Low

Possible Causes:



Ignition system voltage circuit has a high resistance condition
 
Generator is damaged or it has failed (generator output too low)
 
Possible high resistance condition in the fusible link to battery
 
PCM has failed
 
Vehicle may have been used to "jump start" another vehicle
 

Trouble Code: P0563



System Voltage Too High

Possible Causes:



Ignition system voltage circuit has a high resistance condition
 
Generator is damaged or it has failed (generator output too low)
 
Possible high resistance condition in the fusible link to battery
 
PCM has failed
 
Vehicle may have been used to "jump start" another vehicle

PCM Or TCM Memory Error

Possible Causes:



Perform the Diagnostic System Check for the PCM or the TCM
 
Record any related trouble codes in memory
 
PCM has failed (replace and reprogram the PCM or TCM)
 
Perform the Security System (Passlock) Relearn Procedure

PCM Or TCM Not Programmed

Possible Causes:



Perform the Diagnostic System Check for the PCM or TCM
 
Record any related trouble codes in memory
 
Reprogram the PCM or TCM and recheck for related trouble codes. If the same code resets, replace and reprogram the PCM or the TCM (depending upon which one set the code).
 
Perform the Security System (Passlock) Relearn Procedure

Possible Causes:



Record any related trouble codes in memory
 
PCM has failed (replace it and reprogram the new PCM)
 
Perform the Security System (Passlock) Relearn Procedure

Record any related trouble codes in memory
 
Reprogram the PCM and recheck for any related trouble codes
