Oil Pump Drive Gear

Oil Pump Drive Gear:

Usually an internal component of the oil pump. Gear actuator assembly that usually interlocks with cam gear to rotate the oil pump. This gear turns an inner idler or pump gear in the oil pump to pressurize the oil and force it out into the block.
