Clutch Assembly

Clutch Assembly Operation:

Also known as a pressure plate. It bolts to the flywheel and engages or disengages the clutch disc to the flywheel. It's a spring-loaded device that by contact with the throw out bearing (clutch release bearing), forces the clutch disc against the flywheel when the clutch pedal is released and lets the clutch disc free wheel when the clutch pedal is depressed.

How To Instructions:

Inspect - Check for obvious problems.
Replace - Out with the old, in with the new.
