Speedometer Cable

Speedometer Cable Operation:

A sheathed casing and cable assembly, with specially designed connectors on each end. It connects the drive cable from the speedometer head to the transmission and drives the speedometer mechanism. A specially formulated graphite compound and lube tool are required for speedometer cables. Oil shouldn't be used because it'll cause the cable to stick. Only analog speedometers require cables, digital units are electronically controlled.

How To Instructions:

Inspect - Check for obvious problems.
Replace - Out with the old, in with the new.
