Transmission Filter (A/T)

Transmission Filter (A/T) Operation:

Usually a paper or mesh filament in transmission housing used to remove impurities and foreign matter from transmission fluid. This filter is housed within the automatic transmission oil pan and is attached to the valve body by several small screws or bolts. Filter changes should be made approximately every thirty thousand miles depending on driving conditions.

Replace - Out with the old, in with the new.
