Camshaft Bearing

Camshaft Bearing Operation:

Most camshaft bearings are made from seamless steel tubing with lining material bonded to the inside. Heavy-duty cam bearings are made in flat strips. The layer, or layers, of lining material are bonded to the strip, and the strip is rolled to form the bearing. The seam will be either interlocking or straight.

How To Instructions:

Inspect - Check for obvious problems.
Replace - Out with the old, in with the new.
