I was shocked that it actually worked

I bought this recently when we were getting a ton of rain because my rear view mirror came unglued after water leaked into my car.

I was skeptical based on other reviews. I made sure I read the instructions several times (big hint - use READING GLASSES!!). I made sure I knew exactly what to do before I made an attempt. I waited until it was dry and hot outside. I did mine in two days. First day I cleaned the window area where the mirror hangs. Let it dry overnight. Next afternoon (very hot day) I put on latex gloves, got the tube of adhesive ready along with the little metal piece that sticks on the window. Placed one fairly good size drop on the larger side of the metal button. Then placed a finger on it and held for about a minute. I gently tested it to see if it would move and it didn't, so I left it to dry in the sun and didn't attempt to hang the mirror back on until the next day. It's been up with no problem for about 3 weeks now. YEAH.

Pros: will adhere to auto glass

Cons: don't get it on your skin, instructions are hard to read (too small)

    Works as advertised

After reading the negative reviews here I was skeptical. The rear view mirror on my 2004 BMW 525i detached itself on a hot sunny day while the car was parked. No idea what happened but i noticed that part of the windshield had broken off and was still attached to the mirror mounting plate. Since the outside of the glass was not damaged, I decided to try a repair first. If that didn't work, a new windshield would likely be required.
I used the adhesive per the instructions, making sure that i positioned the mirror mount precisely in the right position as i knew there would only be one chance. I held it tightly in place for 1 minute as instructed. I did wait a full 24 hours before re-attaching the mirror (the instructions state 45 mins). I just re-attached the mirror and although it was very tight (you have to twist the mirror 45 degrees and it takes a LOT of force) the mount stayed secure. Now let's just see if this repair lasts! All in all this product worked as advertised and it is holding my heavy rear view mirror (so far).

Pros: Very easy to apply, strong

Cons: Good for only one attempt so be careful

    Bad Product!!

Don't waste your money and time on this adhesive! It's labeled "Extreme Adhesive" but I found that it doesn't seem adhere to the glass at all.
I followed the instructions to a tee, cleaned the glass with the towelette let the primer dry for two min. put one drop of glue on the metal mirror button pressed on for one min. let it sit for 1.5 hours started gently installing the mirror and it popped right off. I had enough product to try it again, scrapped off glue from both surfaces cleaned, primed this time I tried two drops held on 60 sec. let it sit for 24 hours and same thing. The mirror popped off in my hands
Going back to AutoZone and see what they say, I'll let you know.......

    Pros: None

    Cons: Bad adhesive qualities
