    • Every pump is computer tested to measure pressure, bypass, fluid flow, valve operation, steering effort and noise for guaranteed performance
    • All critical components (campacs, spool valves, etc.) are triple-tested to ensure product reliability
    • Units are supplied with 100% tested and calibrated pressure relief valves for guaranteed performance
    • Shafts are surfaced to precise specifications to eliminate premature seal wear and extend pump life

      Not fun to change

Had to return my p.s. pump twice for warranty exchange. Both times it was leaking from the body, wet on the aft side, apparently from where the 2 castings bolt together. The 2nd time, I removed the entire cowl above it to gain access, but didn't help much, so better to just remove the inlet air ducts. You must work the 3 mounting bolts in thru the pulley slots (2 finger job). The resin pulley is a major pain. I cracked the first one getting it off and had to re-use since no auto parts carried it then (~2009). The pulley later failed, stranding us on the road for a day. Last pass, the pulling slots again sheared off, using my "pulley puller", but I had a spare pulley (learned) so just returned with the pulley still on to let Duralast deal with it. You might do similar. The new pulley went on very tight, using my pulley installer kit (stud, nut, & thrust bearing). Insure you press it to exactly the correct position since unlikely you will be able to pull it back. Mine fit w/ the shaft ~1/8" depressed vs suggested 1/4". Don't press it flush. Serpentine belts are unforgiving of mis-alignment. Many lament Chrysler quality, but the instructions called it a "Toyota pump", so perhaps those cars aren't as great as Consumer Reports claims.

      Pros: Lifetime warranty

Cons: You will likely need it.
