    95 T Car

These Ball Joints are junk! They squeak like crazy! Don't ever buy Ball Joints that don't have a place for a Grease Zerk. The cheaper Value Craft brand is a WAY BETTER part...you can grease them yourself AND they come with a castled nut & cotter key. None of that Nylon Lock Nut crap.

    Pros: none

    Cons: Non Greasable

Not worth the time to put them on

2 of 2 people found this helpful

I put two of these on my 99 Grand Marquis, one side in 2013 and the other in 2012. In the last ninety days I have had to replace both. Apparently the rubber boots are made of low grade rubber. All of these, even the original Motorcraft ones that lasted 13 years are quite difficult to remove from the spindle so it is a pain to replace these again even under warranty and at no cost to me other than an hour of my time for each side. Do yourself a favor and buy some original Motorcraft replacements. You do not want to be broke down on the side of the road because these failed, even under the lifetime warranty.

    Pros: None

    Cons: They wear out quickly.

with the roads in the condition that they are in, using a nylok nut is a terrible idea. after only 3 months of use in ohio the nylon gave way and my wife and car were stranded.

    Pros: there are no pros

Cons: with the roads in the condition that they are in, using a nylok nut is a terrible idea.
