Original Alternator was a 136 amp Bosch on my 2004 2500 4X4 Ram Truck and went down. I wanted more amperage due to pulling trailers with lots of lights on them. I selected this 160 amp alternator and it fit excatly where the other one came off. Took about 20 minutes to install. This review is only for fitment and purchase, not for durability and logivity. Purchased at Autozone in Marion, N.C. 28752.

Original Alternator was a 136 amp Bosch on my 2004 2500 4X4 Ram Truck and went down. I wanted more amperage due to pulling trailers with lots of lights on them. The employee went above and beyond to help me get my truck operational again. It was a simple generator and battery swap. That being said he gave me a hand in testing and actually putting his hands on to help swap out products. His help was greatly appreciated.

The alternator fit right on and works great! While my local store did not have the part, a store a few more miles down the road did. I went there, picked up the part, slipped it on and was back on the road in no time at all!
