I watched a YouTube video on replacing the alternator. I've done many before, but not on this model truck. Pay particular attention to the crush nuts on the rear of the new alternator. You will want to gently push them back a bit so the new alternator fits into its intended position easily, otherwise you'll be beating this thing in with a hammer like a madman! Also, do yourself a favor and borrow the tool from AutoZone for releasing the tension pulley, you'll save yourself some pain, frustration, and a lot of time.
