      This alternator was replaced under warranty. Installation took less than an hour to complete and I was happy that it was covered under warranty. The bad thing was that It had been replaced (also under warranty) only about 7 months ago. The factory original lasted 8 or 9 years but this is now the 3rd remanufactured unit from Autozone in about 4 years. I think that they should last longer!
