Kia Forte Alternator

Dislikes and likes I was sticker shocked on the cost of an alternator for a 2016 Kia forte. AutoZone what is the most reasonable auto parts store to have the alternator that was needed They came out to my vehicle and checked to make sure that the alternator was not functioning. That I did not have to spend that kind of money. If not need it. They weren’t going to sell me something I didn’t need. Unfortunately, came to find out that we needed the alternator. The gentleman also offered a serpentine belt since I have the old one off I should put the new one on. Great idea he was thinking I had a loved it. I could not ask for a better customer service at AutoZone. I’m an old grease monkey type mechanic back in the 80s. Unable to work on today’s cars. And that’s why I appreciate AutoZone in there. Parts technicians to assess my situation and recommend what’s needed. I give them a five star rating.

What kind of vehicle do you drive? 2016 Kia forte, bluish

My battery ran out of charge due to the alternator dieing while at the grocery store. I was able to jump start and get the car to Autozone. They took my battery out and charged it so I could get the car hime and while charging explained how to install a new alternator. Saved me hundreds on labor and mark up costs. The car is running like a dream now.
