Toyota Corolla Alternator
The alternator pulley is joined to the crankshaft pulley with a belt, so whenever the engine is running it spins. Rotational energy is converted into electrical energy as a set of magnets spins around a coil, then the electricity is used to supply your car's electrical needs as well as recharge your battery. Generally, an alternator will last for your car's entire life, but it's possible for problems to require a replacement.

A bad alternator can be a reason your car stalls or the battery light comes on, and a dead battery is a sign there's a problem. How to Replace a Toyota Corolla Alternator

Bosch is a well-known aftermarket parts manufacturer with in my opinion great quality. My alternator was starting to go bad as it was overcharging my battery to 13.5V instead of the regular 12.6V. Alternator pulley was making the typical rattling, whining noise when driving or on idle (sign of going bad). After I replaced the Denso OEM Toyota alternator with this Bosch alternator, the front-end was quiet and smooth. In all, just buy a new aftermarket alternator with good warranty and you’re good!

Perfect match, the warranty isn't the best but wasn't over priced. 2 months in and still good.

This alternator was for my son's Corolla and it fit perfectly and works exactly as it was supposed to, and the cost was a fraction of the cost from a dealer.
