Failing battery contact

I bought another set contact that looked heavier duty then this contact but it required me to redo the braiding of the cable ends into the new contact. This heavier contact also wouldn't fit the full battery post, it stopped halfway. I then bought this contact. It actually is great and fit the battery post without any issues. It has been working like a charm. I also installed it upside down to keep the wiring from resting on the plastic of the battery. Someone stated it was like a marine battery contact and poor quality on a review but its quiet the opposite. I have a 2007 dodge nitro.
