About
Audi A4 Car Battery
Batteries are not a one-size-fits-all part, and different cars require different dimensions, capacities, and terminal orientations, not to mention different chemistries. If you use the wrong type, your A4 might not be as reliable as it should or the battery can slide around in the tray. The A4 battery size depends on the year and trim level you drive, and options include BCI Group Size 47, 48, 49, and 94R. Other options might be the right one for your car, which is why it's so important to match the same battery as your car originally came with.
Luckily, AutoZone has everything you could need to service your car including the perfect battery for your Audi A4. Don't have time to make it to your local store? No worries! On eligible orders, get it sent to you with Free Next Day Delivery instead.

Your website showed the battery was in stock and it was there when I went to pick it up. Less expensive battery at a big box store was not available and they didn't know when it would be

This battery was really heavy to lift into the vehicle but once I finished installing the car runs great. No complaints.

Overall
it's a battery - smaller than Audi OEM

Manufacture date 11/16, needed to be replaced early 2019. Not sure if that makes it a 2 year or 3 year battery, buy definitely not the over 6 years of the original Audi unit. Made in Spain Note for A4 owners (B6, B7 years) this is the "lite" version of the OEM battery that will work, but has lower weight, cranking amps, and reserve. It will fit in the space, but is not an exact replacement (for my B7 A4 at least) and is smaller physically which combined with being lighter will make it easier to install, but do not recommend unless you like to change out your battery every 2-3 years versus the 5-6 years of a quality group 49 like came with your car.
