About Hyundai Santa Fe Car Battery

To maintain the normal operation of your Hyundai Santa Fe's electrical systems, it's essential to have a fully charged battery that reliably delivers energy. If you've been frequently asking for a jump-start or you can't depend on your electronics to work normally, your SUV could be telling you it's time for a new battery. AutoZone offers an extensive selection of Hyundai Santa Fe battery options from top brands like Duralast Platinum and Valucraft so you can drive without a second thought.

A replacement battery is usually required every three to five years because it tends to degrade as it's used. Choosing the right Santa Fe battery size is crucial. If it's incorrect, the battery may not fit securely in the battery tray, or it may lack the power to crank the engine over in the toughest weather conditions. Check the battery itself for the BCI Group Size, likely 124R or 94R, or ask for assistance from one of AutoZone's in-store associates.

We offer the right parts for the job including standard car batteries for your Hyundai Santa Fe to premium options like AGM to cater to your specific needs. With Free Next Day Delivery available, you can get your new battery quickly and easily and keep your SUV running smoothly.

I only have had the Duralast Platinum EFB Battery for less than a month. It has been great so far. The employees a the Broken Arrow, OK store were great. They tested my old battery and installed the new battery-free and fast. This will be my car go to store from now on.

    Post Size Problem

This battery replaced a Duralast Gold that was 4.5 years old (good for Texas heat). The positive terminal in the car didn't want to tighten down on this battery. I put the old battery back in and it tightened down with no problem. So, I got out my calipers and the base of the post measured the same on both batteries, but the new one had more taper to the post and the top of the new post is slightly smaller than the old battery. After a lot of hassle bending on the clamp, it's tight enough, but still not as tight as it should be. The post should be the same size as the old battery. They are both Duralast batteries. If putting it back on the old battery had been loose also, I would just say it was a worn out connector. However, as previously mentioned, when I reinstalled the old battery as a test, the clamp tightened down with no problems.

    Replacement Battery

I replaced the battery on my wife's 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe. The OEM battery was still working, but I wanted to make sure she would not be stranded when the OEM went out. The battery is slightly narrower, but I slide the battery over to the tire side. It still lined up with the retaining bolt and bracket. This battery seems better for a late model vehicle with the latest onboard electronics.
