                My 4 year old Duralast battery died while at work on a Tuesday. I had to call AAA for a jump start and went to AZ for a new battery in a hurry. My schedule for the day was ruined. I bought a new Duralast & had it installed and exchanged the old one. After I got home it occurred to me to check my records. I then realized the old battery had a 5 limited warranty. On Saturday I got the old receipt (the 2 purchases are still in AZ's computer system) and went back for the limited warranty. They refused to honor it saying I should have claimed the warranty when I bought the new battery. Since the old battery was gone they couldn't now verify that it was a Duralast. The employee at the time (he wasn't there Saturday) when he saw the old Duralast should have checked the system or AZ should have a trigger on their system. Someone in a hurry should not have to remember that a 4 year old battery has a 5 year limited warranty.
