      About

      2013 Toyota Prius Car Battery

Maintaining the functionality of a car's electrical systems and starting its engine depends on the condition of the 2013 Toyota Prius battery and its ability to store energy. Dim headlights, flickering lights, and frequently needing a jump start are signs indicating that it might be time for a battery replacement. Luckily, AutoZone offers a wide variety of options from top industry brands like Duralast to ensure you find the appropriate 2013 Toyota Prius battery size to meet your needs.

After about three to five years of normal use, the battery starts losing its ability to recharge quickly and completely, and a replacement is in order. The right size is critical to ensure the battery cables reach the terminals, reserve capacity is high enough, and dimensions that fit in the battery tray so the hold-downs can secure it. AutoZone helps you find the correct battery for your 2013 Toyota Prius, which is typically 24R or 51, but that may differ for your build.

At AutoZone, our helpful staff is always ready to assist you in making the right battery choice. We offer everything you need for your car along with Next Day Delivery on qualifying orders so you don't have to wait for your new battery.

Had a bad experience at the local dealership wanting to charge me huge money to install a 12V battery, compounded by them not wanting to sell me a battery to install myself because I don't service my car there and I didn't have my VIN available. I drove right to AutoZone where they didn't have the battery in store but got it for me the next morning. My only concern is I was charged for terminal grease when I didn't ask for it and I didn't receive it. Otherwise, it was a good transaction, and my car is up and running great again.

Called Toyota to replace my wife’s Prius auxiliary battery and they said no one else sold them and I’d have to order one. Called Autozone and they do carry a replacement through Optima. I read the reviews and Optima was recommended well over Toyota’s factory replacement. Autozone gave me the same price for a superior product. So fair battery has worked great.
