2002 Dodge Grand Caravan SE

I bought a gently used 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan SE with less then 38,000 miles this year in Feb/2022 and shortly after about 6,000 miles we smelt a smoky/melted plastic smell coming from the front ac vents, then about a week later (today) the front ac stopped working, no power to the blower. The female connector: power pin had melted to the resistor and about 1” of the back of the plug was totally fried. This replacement kit was a perfect fit and included all 3 pieces. Less then 15 mins to install.

Dodge Grand Caravan Blower Motor Resistor

On a recent road trip the heater/AC blower stopped working on lower speeds and would only work on high. A quick search and a Youtube video showed me exactly what the problem was and how to fix it. Lower the glove box, remove two plugs, remove two screws, remove the old resistor and add the new and it was fixed. It couldn't be easier.

The old, original one fried at the connection. So I am glad the connectors come with the resistor.
