At first I thought it was my fuel pump because sometimes when trying to start it, the truck would immediately turn off. Since my fuel pump was just replaced a year ago, I thought I’d check the ignition stuff first. It turned out to be the switch. When installing the switch, make sure you adjust it or you won’t get power at all. This Fixed the issue on my 1991 Ford F-150 Inline 6.

That you have to drop the steering column.

To adjust the column needs to be unbolted and hanging. With tilt steering some times you don't get the adjustment on the first try.
