    About Jeep Cherokee Ignition Switch

Sport Utility Vehicles come in all shapes and sizes, but your Cherokee never fails to stand out of the pack. By checking and maintaining your Jeep Cherokee ignition switch properly, you're making an investment toward keeping your ride on the road longer and increasing the overall reliability and performance of your vehicle. AutoZone has all the answers when you're searching for high-quality replacement parts.

As your SUV ages, there are several parts that require close attention in order to keep your ride at its best. Cherokee ignition switches are particularly important, as they're the components in charge of your vehicle's ability to crank and get moving. If the connectors inside this part become blocked by dust, dirt of other debris, they cannot complete the processes necessary for your vehicle's start-up process. AutoZone's fast home shipping and Same Day Store Pickup option ensure those looking for an ignition switch for Jeep Cherokee have everything they need in order to take care of this project right away. Rest assured that you're saving big when you shop with AutoZone, since we always provide the right products at the right prices.

This was a quick and easy replacement, except for the safety hex screws. I'm not sure why Chrysler thought this particular piece needed to be bolted down with safety screws, but they did. Fortunately, AutoZone sells those, too.

My car wouldn’t start (it would just click once when turning the key) and after checking the battery, starter and neutral safety switch, I realized it was the broken ignition switch agitator. Fits perfectly and it works great.
