Starter solenoids complete the circuit between the battery and the starter, some align Bendix drive with teeth of flywheel ring gear and others are used to bypass coil resistance wire
When not replaced, vehicle may experience CEL/MIL illumination, high fuel consumption, loss of power and/or inaccurate transmission shift points
