Replace starter on 2006 Ford F 150 Pickup

You can not change the starter with out the vehicle being on a lift. Make sure the engine has cooled down and NOT hot BEFORE you start replacing. Check all wires for damaged insulation and replace if needed. There is a lot of heat from the engine around the wires. Remember th disconnect the battery BEFORE you start. I saved money doing the work myself and the starter works great.
