                  How to Install Your 2002 Ford Taurus Starter

                  Installing a replacement 2002 Ford Taurus starter requires first finding the perfect replacement part at AutoZone. Filter through all the available parts by year, make, model, and engine size, then pick up your new part from a local store with Same-Day In-Store Pickup.

                  Once you have your right part, disconnect the battery's negative cable and remove the positive battery cable from the starter solenoid. Next, remove the old starter's retaining bolts and lift it out of the engine. You can only place the new starter in the same location. Swap the heat shield between the components for extra safety. Then just put the retaining bolts back and remember to reattach the battery wires appropriately.
