About
Honda Civic ABS Sensor
Anti-lock brakes keep your car's wheels from locking up and going into a skid, and the Civic anti-lock brake sensor is a crucial part of the system. When the sensor fails, the control module doesn't get the information it needs to apply the correct amount of pressure. Our ABS speed sensor for Honda Civic monitors and reports the speed of each of your tires, so you always get the ideal application of pressure. At AutoZone, we're committed to offering you high-quality products, expert advice and great values. Shop our in-store selection today and benefit further from free battery charging and engine diagnostic testing, as well as access to our useful Loan-a-Tool program for DIY installation.

Replacement was quick and easy once the old (front) sensor was removed. Like others on the web, the old sensor was rusted solid into the bored hole in the knuckle and impossible to remove without destroying it. The core of the old sensor has to be carefully drilled out and then remnants removed/flushed.
