      Good quality basic rotor

      Tom

I like the black coating. it looks like it might slow down the rusting. Of course, it wears off from the braking surface, but still looks nice on the rest of the rotor. Install went smoothly and braking power seems better than with the stock rotor.

      A Well Designed Brake Rotor

      Falcon

      in 3 months

I had such great performance and durability with my first set of these 'Z-Clad' (zinc coated) rotors, I purchased a 2nd set when it came time to replace them. I ran the 1st set from April 30th, 2015 until April 14th, 2022, and although these front rotors mic'd out at 28.63mm, and brake pads were at 5.5mm, after 7 years I thought it best to just simply put a fresh set on there. Mileage was 26,999 when replaced.

DIY Job on the rear is only a 2/10 effort

Totally can change the rotors yourself. I did a rear rotor caliper and pads in just a few hours. Just make sure you have torx bits to remove the bolt that secures the rotor to the end of the axle. I saw some stuff on YouTube about having to loosen and tighten the e-brake on the rear ones but I didn’t have to mess with it. Oh and you’ll need some PB Blaster and a sledgehammer about 3 lb to break them baby’s loose.
