Don't know if it's worth the price

I installed these on my front axle recently, hoping for noticeable improvement over my previous OEM set. They certainly do the job, but I'm not convinced that they are worth the extra $15 (each) compared to the base Duralast rotors. These come with an anti-rust coating essentially painted on, which should be nice in the long run, but it hinders the process of bedding in new pads. Took me twice as long to break in the new pads, all the while causing a horrible grinding noise while the coating was shedding. I'm hoping that these rotors will stand the test of time and last longer than standard rotors, but considering that I'll likely replace these next time I replace my pads it doesn't seem worthwhile to pay extra for the added lifespan. I'll likely just buy standard rotors next time around to save some $$.
