It’s not always good enough to just change your brake pads. When it comes to stopping power, your brakes are only as good as your rotors. We carry a wide array of OE and aftermarket brake rotors, all designed to meet or exceed your vehicle’s original braking power. Our rotors are built from high strength alloy to resist warping and give better stopping performance for longer.

Whether you’re looking to replace your stock quality rotors, or you want to boost your brake system’s power, AutoZone has all the parts you need to do-it-yourself and save on your brake rotor replacement cost. If you've never changed rotors before, check out our DIY brake job guide.

You could have a brand-new pair of the best brake pads on the planet and they wouldn’t do a thing without high-quality brake rotors to grab onto. A brake rotor consists of two discs for the pads to press against, and a ribbed support between the discs for heat dissipation. The friction between the pads and rotors converts rotational energy into heat, bringing your vehicle to a stop. This friction warps the rotors over time. Warped rotors provide less consistent contact between your pads and the discs, which means less consistent braking for you.

Brake rotors come in a few different varieties. Most are discs with flush surfaces. There are also drilled and slotted rotors. Putting holes in any brake components may seem counterintuitive, but the holes allow water and heat to escape from between the pads and rotors, preventing brake fade and boosting stopping power.

Restore your vehicle’s braking power with new rotors from AutoZone. Whether you need BMW 650i brake rotors, or rotors for any other major vehicle, we have the rotors you are looking for. If you need something like a brake rotor tool or any other tools or parts for your job, we have that too. Our wide selection of auto parts and our Loan-A-Tool program make changing your own brake rotors easier than ever. Your local AutoZone has everything you need to do the job right.
