I installed the new upgraded Powerstop performance brake kit on my Honda Coupe V6, The slotted and drilled brakes look great with the red calipers and the stopping power is fantastic.

Easy enough to install

The kit is easy enough to install for an amateur if you do your homework on your model car before hand. The brakes have made noise since installation, although I did not perform the manufacturers recommended break-in process. However, many mechanics have scoffed at the notion that a break-in process should be necessary at all to avoid brake noise. From my assessment, the noise would seem to be caused by the new retainer clips supplied with the kit. They were the one part that did not exactly fit flush and/or without trouble and the noise does not necessarily correlate to whether or not I'm braking. The new retainers gave me enough trouble fitting in that I had debated whether or not to just leave the old ones on.
