      Works on the 2008 Ford Focus Driver's Door

      The door lock actuator for my 2008 Ford Focus Broke a week ago, and no shop or store could find a replacement for the Actuator on the front driver's door. I eventually did a bunch of digging around to discover that this is an updated part number for the original Actuator. Unfortunately, every parts store will argue that this is not a part that will fit the 2008-2011 Ford Focus. Not even the parts department at any Ford Dealership will say that this is the correct part. All of those part stores will find in their systems is the rear door actuators. I hope that someone else with a similar problem might find this information useful. I have had 0 issues since I replaced it (and the outer door handle as well). All handles work fine and the power locks also work. Just be warned, the employees at the store will be super hesitant to sell you this part because it does not match in their computer system to the vehicle. Fight them and buy it if you need a working actuator.
