economically great upgrade

Carl

in 9 months

Had a drivers side bulb burn out on the low beam. decided to upgrade to these for better lighting. They work great for me so far and are a huge difference from the stock bulbs. To address some failures (possibly) described in other reviews and to all potential buyers; Remember that eventhcugh the package really does not address it... it is important to never touch the glass part of any halogen or Zion type bulb with your hands while installing. as the oils (natural and car related) and dirt etc draws heat to that area that is touched and can be the cause of a early failure. Most of the time you can install by only touching the metal (cool) area and the the use of clean/new latex glove seems to not effect as well I've even used a clean sandwich bag to grab them. If you do smudge up the glass clean it off good with alcohol or lens wipe. This was something I'd learned (the hard way) from working as a fleet mechanic for over 32 years when bulb replacing replaced entire headlamp replacing and we didn't understand why after the initial bulbs would eventually burn out we'd replace them... and in a short amount of time the vehicle would be back for another bulb. we thought like most that it was inferior replacements and then we eventually were notified through training and service bulletins that our dirty and even cleanish hands cause could most of the failures and soon the bulbs were not burning out abnormally. That's just some advise for those who want it.
