      Installed in a back hatch of my Dodge Durango. These went in quickly. Luckily, I already had a star screwdriver that fit. Getting off the old ones tooka little extra elbow grease. Make sure you prop up what you are working on, add these cylinders hold up a lot of weight. Street I was done, the hatch now stays up will, even in the cold. If anything, it now is more challenging to close than I expected! Better than new.

      My power lift gate was suddenly unable to support my back gate when opened. It only took 5 minutes to change the gas strut and it is working perfectly now. The part was genuine OEM, so I have zero worry if it being a cheap competitor knockoff.
