I am not sure where to post this but here goes. This pertains to my 1995 Mitsubishi MightyMax 2.4L
Recently I ran out of gas (its been 20 years since that happened), went to friends house and got wrong gallon of gas from him. It was mostly water. At present time I have flushed out tank and fuel line to the Fuel Rail before the injectors. I simply unscrewed the drain plug under tank and with high pressure line to the fuel rail disconnected, I turned the key over to allow the pump to do the work for me and pumped it in a container Yes, I saved the bad fuel into a proper container (2 litre bottle, clear so I could see the mess) I re-connected all and I added fuel into tank (about 4 gallons), repressurized line and got the truck to fire up. It runs rough and that is where I am at now.
I have bought: and not used yet
1 bottle of HEET (iso) + injection cleanerr
1 fuel filter (inline, mfg)
My question(s) to anyone is : Since the vehicle runs roughly now, do I need new plugs, injectors, a new wife....hehehe...sorry wrong forum?
