I have a '92 Ford Bronco with a 5.8 (351) 4x4 that has a check engine light that came on. It's codes were an EGR valve, and some with the transmission. I have replaced the transmission and transfer case but the shop did not reset or clear the check engine light so I was hoping that someone here could help me. I don't have a scanner but I can pull codes the old fashioned way by running a wire with an aligator clip from battery to the OBD I plug. Can I also clear the codes that way somehow or is there another way? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
