I am changing the calipers (as well as rotors and brake pads) on my Bmw 325i (year 2004). However, I ran into a problem. The blot that currently holds the caliper fluid hose line into the caliper will not open. The bolt itsself (on one side) is stripped and thus is a bit rounded. I would like to remove this caliper without damaging the fluid hose itself. Is there anyway I can unscrew the bolt without damage to the line?
If not, are there any guides (for my car) with step by step instructions on how to replace the fluid hose? Must it be done in pairs or only on the affected side? I have searched and cannot find one.
Thank you for your help!
