Easy Fix for Broken Blower on 2012 Ford Fusion

Great part and easy fix for broken blower functions on my 2012 Ford Fusion. Just unplug the electrical connector and remove bolt (use a 5.5mm socket) to remove bad part. Install new part reusing bolt and plug in connector and your done. Maybe took 15 minutes. Fan speeds all work correctly now.

Check your cabin air filter!

This didn’t actually need to be replaced. But the cabin air filter was so dirty it was causing only the highest fan setting to work. If these don’t work then replace the blower motor. It’s easier to remove than the A/C Resistor.
