Mercedes Benz C230 Belt

Bought this belt back in March of 2022 for my 1998 Mercedes c230. Here it is January 2023 and my son and I are on the FDR highway and the steer goes out. How scary! I think this belt should have lasted way longer than up to a year. I will have my mechanic check if the pulley is the issue or the belt because I purchased both at the same time.

Belt is difficult to install due to space and the layout need a picture for sure. Staff was very helpful at the store
