Perfect fit and works well

Chris

in 3 months

I have bought a lot of duralast parts and they always fit and work well. They live up to their name and last. This was a perfect fit and if installed correctly wont leak. Make sure to use rtv sealant and a torque wrench. Lookup vehicle specific torque number. I suggest getting the fan clutch with it so you knock out two birds with one stone. Getting the fan bolt off is a little difficult, lookup on youtube. I used a screwdriver in a hole in the pump to keep it from moving while I used wrench with long pipe for leverage to loosen it.

Works!

Harry

in 2 months

Seems to working as advertised with no leaks. The fan clutch had a different size base then the original and did not come with hardware to compensate for this change. The original hardware is holding fine for now, but this is an area for future concern.

Good Combo Kit - but one strange issue

SM GrndCherokee

in 9 months

This water pump / fan clutch combo works great. Installs correctly and easily, (if you call changing this on a 5.2L jeep easy), with only one odd thing. The "nozzle" at the top right for the bypass hose is shorter than my original. The hose BARELY reaches, and it's a new hose!! I did get it on, but when compared to the original, there is a definite 1/2" difference. The original is longer. Still works, but now I'll be wondering if that hose is going to stay put. And if you've changed the bypass hose on that engine (Magnum 5.2L 318 V8), you know you don't want to go back under there any time soon. The fan clutch threaded on the pump by hand very nicely all the way to the pulley, with only a slight tightening needed at the end.
